Janaza Announcement

Dear community members,

There will be a Janaza Prayer tomorrow Monday Jan 28th after Zuhr prayer.  Afterwards, the burial will be in the cemetery at Morehouse road and 52. Don't miss the reward of attending the Janaza and the burial.

It was narrated that Al-Musayyab bin Rafi' said:

"I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib say: The Messenger of Allah said: 'whoever follows a Janazah until the prayer is offered, he will have one Qirat of reward and whoever walks with the funeral until (the body) is buried will have two Qirats of reward, and a Qirat is like Uhud."'

"O Allah, forgive her. Make her among the guided ones, raise her status and be her deputyamongthe grieving. O Lord of the two worlds, forgive us and hee and make herg gravewide and full of light".

Imam Ahmed Elkhaldy's visit

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Imam Ahmed Elkhaldy, the Imam of MAS Iowa Islamic Center is visiting ISGL on Feb 15 and 16 isA. He will give a Jumma Khutbah and a lecture entitled "Be a Legend" on Friday Feb 15, and two lectures for the youth on Saturday Feb 14th.

ISGL Soccer League in the Spring

Are you good at playing Soccer? Do you love challenge? Do you love Pizza?

ISGL is preparing for a soccer league for tweens and teens (10 to 20 years old) this spring. The place is Legacy sports club. Pizza will be offered after the game ends.

Also, if you are interested in other sports, please list them in the registration form so that we can do them in the future.

We will start once we have at least 3 teams.

Sunday Islamic School Spring Registration

Registration for the Sunday Islamic School is now available.

If you are a returning family, just update your names, emergency contacts and any new children. We will simply keep all other information from last year if you do not fill it out.

Payment and scholarship / financial aid requests will be processed in January.
